01 — STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

Architects of the DC Chapter.

Rebuilding IAMCP's Federal Nerve Center

Mark T. Evans doesn't just participate in the Microsoft partner ecosystem — he leads it. Two years ago, Mark joined the Board of Directors for the IAMCP Washington DC Chapter and undertook the mission of reviving and restructuring a chapter that had gone dormant. He didn't inherit a functioning organization. He built one.

Mark assembled a new board of directors from scratch — recruiting experienced Microsoft partners, federal technology leaders, and channel strategists — and re-chartered the DC chapter with a singular, strategic focus: to become the primary IAMCP hub for federal government Microsoft engagements in the United States.

The logic was clear: Washington DC is the epicenter of federal IT procurement. Every major agency, defense organization, and civilian department operates within the Microsoft ecosystem — from Microsoft 365 and Azure to Dynamics 365 and the full Power Platform. Yet no IAMCP chapter was specifically organized to serve the federal sector with the coordination, partner-to-partner collaboration, and go-to-market discipline that government work demands. Mark changed that.

Under his leadership, the DC chapter has become the focal point for Microsoft partners pursuing federal contracts — a place where partners connect, co-sell, and bring combined capabilities to opportunities that no single firm could win alone. This is not a networking club. It is a strategic operating body for the federal Microsoft channel.

04 — FEDERAL SECTOR

Built for the mission.

Washington DC is not just where ShareTech Solutions is headquartered — it's where the federal Microsoft ecosystem operates. Every Cabinet-level agency, every branch of the Department of Defense, and every major civilian department runs on Microsoft technology. ShareTech's proximity, clearance-ready workforce pipeline, and IAMCP-driven partner relationships position us to serve this market with a depth and responsiveness that remote or generalist firms cannot match.

The IAMCP DC Chapter operates as a coordinating body for federal Microsoft partner engagements. That partner-to-partner model means we can assemble the right team for any federal opportunity — combining ShareTech's core capabilities with specialized firms across every Microsoft workload. We understand the procurement and compliance overlay that makes federal work different: disciplined, auditable, and security-first.

Federal overlay
Procurement, compliance, teaming.
  • Procurement familiarity: SEWP, ITES-SW2, GSA Schedule, agency BPAs
  • Compliance-aware: NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, FISMA, ITAR
  • Teaming: WOSB / SDVOSB / HUBZone partner structures
  • Government contractor ERP: Business Central configured for DCAA alignment and contract profitability tracking

This is not generalized IT. It’s mission-grade Microsoft delivery with federal discipline.
